Joe's custom football head jigs. Natural crawfish. 1/2 oz.

US$5.50 FREE shipping

Being a west coast boy, born and raised in Arizona, I was very blessed to have been exposed to fishing football head jigs from some of the best ever. Guys like Gary Yamamoto, John Murray, Ben Matsubu, Mark Kile, and a host of other great fisherman.

I learned early on that not all jigs are created equal. More importantly, I learned first hand why some guys love football jigs, because they do catch big bass, but other guys hate them because they lose so many fish.

In 40 years of fishing, buying, making and selling football jigs, I feel that I've learned a few things about this amazing, yet, often misunderstood bait. The proper hook is absolutely everything in my opinion. We use a needle sharp, medium wire ultra point hook, because it allows you to simply pull the rod away from the fish with minimal pressure, even in deep water, resulting in full penetration without tearing the fishes mouth, which also greatly increasing your odds to land that fish.

The right weedguard, placed in the head at the right angel is also vital. We only use a soft, medium flex weedguard, because it easily flexes down to ensure a good hookset while minimizing hangups.

By using ultra fine cut skirt material, our jigs flex and move naturally in the water. We also use only custom jig skirts to maximize durability. At this point you may be wondering, why do you only offer a few colors? Honest answer, because that is all you need. A shad color and crawfish color will always produce. If you need to make significant color changes, do it with your trailers.

If you are looking to be the best bass fisherman you can be, I invite you to pick up some of our time tested football jigs, and go out and catch some fat bass. We currently offer this outstanding bait in two custom colors, and each color is available in 1/2 & 3/4 oz.

Pro tip. I prefer fishing a 7'4" medium or medium/heavy action rod with a soft tip with fooball jigs, and I typically spool a high speed reel with 12 to 16 pound Gamma fluorocarbon.

The real magic in football jigs is in their versatility. You can hop them, drag them, or swim them along bluff walls, gravel flats, chunk rock points, and everything bewteen.

Volume discount: $5.50 per jig, or $20.00 for a 4 pack.

Joe's deer hair jigs. White/Silver Mylar. 3/8 oz.

US$7.00 FREE shipping

In the right hands, a deer hair jig can absolutely be the best bait you can tie on. Ive been making, selling, and fishing hair jigs for 35 years, and have caught a boat load of big bass on this time tested bait.

Our hair jigs are built on our signature series baitfish style head, with a super sharp ultra point hook, and the head itself is well balanced and swims well. After adding our large red eyes, we seal the entire head with pro tec paint and multiple coats of clear hardner/sealer. We offer this fantastic bait in 3/8, 1/2, & 3/4 oz. sizes.

I really fish hair jigs hard in both winter, when bass are stacked up on mainlake points and ledges, and in Summer, when bass are cruising open water structures, gorging on shad.

7" cut tail worms. White.

US$6.00 FREE shipping

Cut tail worms have been around for decades, and with great reason, they absolutely hammer bass. They are famous for being rigged weightless, or with a small weight pegged, and pulled across shallow vegetation, but cut tail worms are deadly when Texas rigged, flipped, or skipped under docks. Cut tail worms are always in my rotation baits, and should be in yours as well. We offer this outstanding worm in 6 custom colors, and each color comes in a package of five.

When targeting larger bass with 5 to 7" swimbaits, this is my head of choice. The baitfish style head, with two bait keepers comes through cover well, and holds the bait tightly in place. We built this jig head using a wide gap, needle point, Owner hook. Very strong and sticlky sharp. After adding our large, signature series red eyes, we seal the entire head using multiple coats of clear sealer/hardner. This is a fantastic swimbait head, that will consistently get the job done.
