This amazing bait incorporates attributes from a swim jig, a bladed swim jig, and a bucktail jig, into one amazing bait that works great for stripers and fluke. This bait will make you a better striper & fluke fishermen.

We designed this jig on a baitfish style head, using a wide gap, extra strong, saltwater hook. The body consists of the finest whitetail deer hair available, highlighted with mylar flash, and large oversized red eyes. We use multiple coats of pro tec paint, which is baked on for maximum durability, then we coat the entire head with a clear sealer/hardner for maximum durability. The final touch is to add a large tapered blade, and snap, that creates an erratic swimming action that triggers aggressive strikes. While these jigs will catch fish on their own, I prefer to add either a fat cow split tail trailer, or a segmented paddle tail trailer, which adds both action and bulk to the presentation. One of our customers on the Jersey Shore adds a Berkley gulp as a trailer, and said they are slaying the fish by slowly swimming the bait.
